The new Manō model from Local Motion has finally arrived. "Manō," meaning shark in Hawaiian, has been fine-tuned to detail to become one of the most versatile shortboards on the market. With predator-like performance, it works well in both knee-high and overhead waves without compromising performance.

FEATURES
Fin Setup
The Manō comes with a thruster base, but with the upgrade to a "Five Fin Setup," it also works great as a quad, depending on the conditions.
Lamination
Boards from 5'5" to 6'4" – standard lamination with 2x 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom. Boards 6'6" and up – standard lamination with 6oz. + 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom.
Rail
The Manō has a medium to low rail, which increases speed in and out of more irregular and soft sections.
Tail
The Manō Squash is the version designed for a more progressive and bold surf style, performing very well in aggressive maneuvers.
Concave
The Manō has a single to double concave, which allows for easier wave entries and faster rides.
Rocker
A medium and continuous rocker that allows for easy turns without losing speed, as well as quick exits from maneuvers.
