Fin Setup
The Krypton comes with a thruster base but also works great as a quad, depending on the conditions.
Lamination
Boards from 5'0" to 6'4" – standard lamination with 2x 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom. Boards 6'6" and up – standard lamination with 6oz. + 4oz. deck and 4oz. bottom.
Rail
The Krypton has a very specific rail that tapers towards the nose and tail, keeping the board connected to the wave.
Tail
At the back, the outline is pulled into a rounded pintail, creating lots of curve with the back foot. This not only provides great control in bigger waves but also allows for tighter arcs in the pocket.
Concave
V-entry to a smooth single concave, then a double V to the tail, giving the board great speed and rail-to-rail control.
Rocker
Flat rocker with a slight nose kick at the entry, focused on speed, allowing surfers to navigate sections they wouldn’t normally think possible.
