Features:
High-performance epoxy system recommended for surfboard production. Produces surfboards with a flexible feel, high temperature resistance, and UV stability. High surface finish and plug, for high gloss requirements. Other applications: surfboard repairs, fin box and plug coating, pattern and mold coating, etc. Low odor and reduced skin irritation for a better working environment.
Application Advice:
Work in a clean environment with heating installation. Ideal working temperature of 18°C to 30°C.
Maintain a constant temperature during lamination.
Avoid high ambient humidity.
Avoid UV exposure during curing. Laminates and coatings that benefit from post-curing away from sunlight or polymerized for at least 7 days at 18°C will have increased UV protection and mechanical properties.
Do not dilute with solvents. Consult our technical support.
The use of compatible pigments is possible.
Keep containers tightly closed as hardeners are sensitive to carbon dioxide and moisture.
Polyurethane paint or other finishing paints can be applied (for better UV protection) without primer after sanding the final layer of Surf Clear EVO.

SICOMIN is strongly involved in green chemistry. When technology and raw material availability allow, we opt for raw materials sourced from biomass supply. Surf Clear EVO epoxy resin is manufactured with a 40% green carbon content.
The hardeners react with carbon dioxide and moisture. It must be kept in its original sealed container. Avoid contact with air as much as possible. If the appearance becomes cloudy, do not use.
